"We have spent about 6 months in the Woburn Street house and have really appreciated the thoughtful design of the house. With winter being as long as it is in the Pacific Northwest, we have especially noticed the efficiency of the in-floor heating combined with the heat pump and fan coil combination. Coming into the house on a cold day and having warm floors and a warm living space makes a long day much better. Especially after living in older drafty houses and apartments for many years. So far this summer, the fan coils have done a fine job keeping the lower level exceptionally comfortable. The upstairs is slightly warmer on 85 degree days but it is still a huge improvement while costing far less in utilities, which is a worthwhile trade off. We estimate with the efficient HVAC system and solar panels we are saving around $150 per month on our electric bill. We spend the majority of our time in the downstairs living space either cooking or relaxing. The thoughtful layout, sturdy 3 pane windows and excellent insulation keep that space comfortable year around. We are very grateful that TC Legend prioritizes efficiency and practical design when building homes!"
