    • In addition to being certified to the DOE Zero Energy Ready Home program, the home also achieved a National Association of Home Builders National Green Building Standard emerald level designation.
    • Advanced technology is used throughout the home including ENERGY STAR-certified LED and compact fluorescent lighting, appliances, and ceiling fans.
    • An ENERGY STAR-rated high-efficiency refrigerator and dishwasher add to energy and water savings.
    • Energy and water use are reduced with low-flow plumbing fixtures and demand-controlled recirculation loops on the hot water lines.
    • The home’s fresh air system utilizes an outdoor air intake that is ducted to the return side of the heat pump air handler through a high-capture filter. Even when the heat pump is not needed for heating or cooling, advanced controls ensure adequate fresh air flow.
    • Timer-controlled bath fans remove excess moisture after showering.
