This Utility Open House virtual event features the San Diego Gas & Electric utility company. The event brings together the utility company and its federal customers to foster participation in existing offerings and incentive programs and initiate new projects focused on sustainability, efficiency, and resilience.

Utility representatives will discuss carbon pollution-free electricity options available to federal customers in Michigan, aiming to meet the requirements of Executive Order 14057.

This training introduces the FEMP Building Re-tuning Simulator (BRS), an online tool that helps identify low- and no-cost re-tuning measures. The re-tuning process helps identify and correct building operational problems and minimize energy consumption.

The U.S. Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and the Office of Indian Energy (IE) are co-hosting office hours to answer questions about Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and the Indian Energy Purchase Preference (IEPP). This is partially a follow-up from last month's training, Selling Renewable Energy to the Federal Government: 1 - Renewable Energy Certificates. The primary audience is Tribes and Tribal Majority Owned Business organizations who are interested in selling RECs to the federal government, which is also the primary focus of a recently released solicitation from the U.S. General Services Administration.

This training provides an overview of resilience, including the key attributes of resilience, how to incorporate resilience into federal facilities, and high-impact, low-frequency events and their place in resilience planning.
