This 2020 Energy Exchange Extra session provides the attendee with an understanding of cybersecurity as it encompasses both information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) systems, the similarities and differences, which standards apply when, and tools and approaches for monitoring and detection of OT systems. Attendees will also learn how compromised systems are recovered.

Cybersecurity assessments are mandatory for many organizations and federal agencies, but they can be extremely time-consuming. This training guides attendees through the entire process of taking an assessment on the DER-CF platform, shows why taking assessments is important, and how to get and use the results.

This training provides an introduction to the Distributed Energy Resources Risk Manager (DER-RM). The DER-RM application is a tool for managing authority to operate (ATO) energy systems and renewables. This training, will outline and go over each step of the DER-RM: Prepare, Categorize, Select, Implement, Assess, and Authorize by overviewing an example system going through the ATO process.

This training is the last in a four-part series and covers steps 8 through 15 in the ZEV Ready Center process, including advanced charging solutions, acquisition and installation options, and cybersecurity considerations.
