FEMP Cyber Series: 4-Understand and Mitigate Cybersecurity Gaps

The United States faces persistent and increasingly malicious cyber campaigns against both the public and private sectors that threaten American security, economic well-being, and privacy. Federal agency staff are facing increasing pressures to defend their facilities, control systems, and operational technologies against cyber intrusion. Conducting a cybersecurity assessment is only the first step – how can staff understand any vulnerabilities that have been identified and take action to address the source of high priority gaps? This Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) training, part of a Summer 2023 series on cybersecurity, will focus on how to understand and mitigate cybersecurity gaps to help enhance their facility's cybersecurity posture.
